Instant Gratification...
Eeeek...winter skin! A nightmare - right?? Not necessarily...I have come across dry patches here and there and my usual attack is to exfoliate and nourish with the heavy duty artillery so I can get my instant gratification (I am so impatient...LOL). This new duo from Prescriptives will have you back to normal in no time. Prescriptives Intensive Rebuilding Moisture Rich Cleanser and Prescriptives 'Instant Gratification' Skin Renewal Peel are for those times when you need a little extra help in the winter.
The peel is a self heating luxurious treatment that has the benefits of a facial, peel and microdermabrasion in one product - talks about a spa experience...GENIUS! The cleanser is an ULTRA moisturizing gentle foaming cleanser that will take off ALL of your makeup and leave your skin feeling moisturized and not stripped...perfect for drier months.
Stay Pretty!!

Does anyone know how this compares to the Estee Lauder Idealist Microderm treatment? I read about both of them and they seem to do the same thing and cost the same.

This sounds like a great skin care product - instant gratification is always nice! It's so hard when you have to wait to see results - thanks.

But...I have several acne blemishes, but despite that my skin goes dry in winter. Do you mean it works for a skin that goes dry with having acne.
"ULTRA moisturizing gentle foaming cleanser"
Will it not cause more acne with having a mosituriser effect?

Dev,
Moisture doesn't cause acne, bacteria does. So the short answer is no, this product will not cause you to have acne. My skin is dry and I still get breakouts. So when i do get a breakout, I treat the breakout not my entire face.
My advice is to find an acne treatment that works for you and continue to use products that are in alignment with your skin type (dry oily etc.)
