Awww Helll Nawww!!!: Lindsay Lohan as Marilyn Monroe???
Well she finally did it - she took all of her clothes off. I know that the poor girl has had a tough year and I really like ole Lindsay...I think she is a pretty good actress. But c'mon people, was this honestly necessary? I know that lots of folks do nudes to jump start their careers (hello...Sharon Stone did Playboy and it put her on the map). I am just feeling like I have already seen just a little more of Lindsay than I would like to.
I can't help but think that if she stayed home and worked on her acting or something instead of getting naked and going to clubs to drink 'water'...that might be better than throwing her naked self into the glossy pages of New York Magazine. Don't get me wrong...she looks amazing and surprisingly healthy, and the legendary Bert Stern did a great job at re-creating that last Marilyn photo shoot he did over 40 years ago. I just feel kind of ehhhh about the whole thing.
You can see the whole thing here. What do you think??

She looks great, but doesn't the whole Marilyn Monroe thing feel overdone and overexposed (no pun intended)? It's simply not terribly original. I think she's a beatiful young lady but not terribly thoughtful or talented. Still, she does have something alluring about her, even if it is likely just the sense of impending trouble!

I don't know....it's kind of lame to me...take something already done and cheapen it with a trashy starlet? I agree, I think she did to jump-start her career...and for the attention...these stars make me sick sometimes..."oh the paps are so awful..." when they in fact are the biggest showboats of all. I mean, have you seen L's new dark hair.....LOOK AT ME!!!!!

Am I the only one who doesn't think she looks amazing? I think she looks cheap, the pics look like cheap re-creations...even the wig looks cheap.
And someone needs to tell Lindsay that putting bronzer on her face doesn't make her look tan. I makes her face look dirty.
This concept might have impressed me if they'd used Scarlett Johanson, for example...but I'm so over LiLo.

Hey Daneen...
No you are not the only one - when I said amazing...I meant her body. That hair color is all wrong for her and the makeup is too but they were going for a Marilyn look so I just kinda shrugged it off.

yeah, I'm a little bitter about this, especially since I'm obsessed with everything Marilyn. it's even more infuriating than when Jennifer Love Hewitt played Audrey Hepburn.
