Before & After: Elizabeth Arden Intervene Makeup...
Okay so I was asked to review the new foundation from Elizabeth Arden's Intervene Line which is their new anti-aging line. Well I will tell you right now that I am not a fan of liquid makeup in general (I'm just not) and I definitely don't like the look of having foundation all over my face because inevitably it ends up looking like a mask. I had heard about Intervene - but I was kinda like ehhhhhh cause I am just not a foundation girl.
That being said - I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this one because that was so not the case. Okay so onto the nitty gritty - first of all I can't believe I am showing you what I look like with no makeup - but I gotta do it. You have to see why I think this makeup is so great. First off, I was shocked and amazed that they had a color that would even remotely match me (soft toast) so big plus there. The texture was so light it almost felt like one of those silicone hair products - it went on super smooth and easy and blended amazingly well (I used a brush...I highly suggest it). And the coverage - amazing, and it still felt lightweight! I used it under my eyes and it covered up my little circles AND evened out the skin tone! So all in all I love it, I honestly do.
They say:
This innovative, oil-free liquid makeup with Biodormin™ technology helps delay the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as it gives skin a firmer look. Micro-mineral pigment technology smoothes away imperfections, evens out skin tone and creates a soft natural finish that lasts all day.
- Provides SPF 15 sun protection (so important - sunblock is the fountain of youth)
- For normal skin
- 100% oil-free
- Medium/full coverage
- Soft natural finish
- Clinically, dermatologist and allergy tested
I say it did all that and more. Before and after pics below....
Stay Pretty!!

you are brave. and that seriously looks fantastic - seems to even everything out! What about the micro stuff? Do they have to use micronized anything to achieve this?

Hi Anon..
Nope - it is just the technology that is already in the foundation. I just used a foundation brush and a teeny bit of powder over top. I finished with my Bobbi Brown shimmer brick and mascara and that is it!!

You look great with that foundation! I’m a mineral makeup fan and hasn’t been looking at the usual but this one looks interesting enough to check out.
