Legendary makeup artist Paul Starr, who has worked with everyone from Angelina Jolie & Cindy Crawford to Jada Pinkett-Smith & Lindsay Lohan was found dead in his home yesterday. I was talking to my sweet friend Ben Bennett of We Love Beauty last night who was very close to Paul and he had this to say..."I am just so sad.". Ben isn't the only one. Few details of Starr’s death were available yesterday, and he apparently hadn’t been seen or heard from in several days.
According to Women's Wear Daily, "In his more than 20 years as a top makeup artist, Starr worked extensively in fashion and film, working as a key makeup artist at fashion shows for designers Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood, Dolce & Gabbana and Sass & Bide. He worked with a who’s who of top fashion photographers, including Herb Ritts, Helmut Newton, Peter Lindbergh and Ellen Von Unwerth, and with commercial, film and video directors such as Tim Burton, Spike Lee and Paul Hunter.
In 2003, Starr also created the first national makeup artist team for Estée Lauder, training a group of artists who traveled for the brand." Paul Starr was 48....
You will be missed Paul...

Rest in Peace my lil brother. Love you always.
