Get This: Ojon Tawaka "The Ball"...

Okay...I finally got my hands on one of these beauties and let me tell you...I LOVE IT.  Now, this is by NO MEANS a bargain scrub...it has luxury and spa written all over it and at $65 it is clearly not a bargain - or is it?  I have used it everyday for about a week and see HARDLY ANY DIFFERENCE in the shape or size of it.  SO maybe this is like the hard milled French soaps that last forever.  Who knows, I will tell you how it sizes up cost wise as the months go by.

Ojon® Tawaka™ “The Ball” can only be described as a luxurious exfoliator and enricher for the body.  It contains a high dose of wildcrafted Ojon® oil, rich in essential fatty acids, Omega-3, 6 and 9; Omega-3 fatty acids are essential components for skin’s functioning. Omega-6 fatty acids are essential components of skin’s structure. A deficiency of these essential fatty acids is the most common and can cause dry, flaky skin.  Recently, my elbows have been uncharacteristically dry and after THE FIRST TIME I used this, I noticed a difference.  Another thing was that it didn't leave my skin oily or filmy in any way, just super soft and hydrated.

Now I did think this would be awkward to hold as it is roughly the size of a baseball.  I was also concerned about it slipping out of my hands.  Neither was an issue at all.  What I wasn't prepared for was the river or muddy brown junk in my shower - don't be alarmed...it's supposed to do that!

The packaging is very cool too, it comes with its own hand crafted wooden bowl complete with metal tray for proper drainage (FAB!) The typical Ojon smell has been enhanced by chocolate!  You heard me CHOCOLATE....it looks and smells like a ball of chocolate.  It reminded me of those chocolate oranges you get in your Christmas stocking right down to the foil wrapper (which I placed in the undies drawer cause it smelled too good to throw away!!).  This just screams spa all over it, from the experience in the shower to the packaging.  If you are an at home spa product junkie, then this is a must have for certain.

Dirty Hair Fix: Ojon Rub-Out Dry Cleanser...

Okay so it has been hotter than the devil's undies over the past few days and I for one am worse for wear.  My hair that I just had done last Friday was suddenly limp and slightly greasy....WTF??!!  Since I only wash my hair on a Saturday I needed something to get me through the next few days so I pulled out something that I had not yet tried - Ojon' s Rub-Out Dry Cleanser.

I am telling you, I was not disappointed AT ALL.  Now this won't make your hair super shiny and new BUT it will give you mounds of volume and and remove traces of oiliness which is just fine with me.  I love the "Ojon Smell" like coffee and chocolate with a little vanilla.  I leaned over and sprayed directly at the roots - I was SURPRISED at the amount of volume I got, i just brushed through and my hair looked 100% less dirty (now if I can only make it two more days!!)

Get This: Ojon Rare Harvest Tawaka Cleanser & Conditioner...

I am not one to RAVE about something unless I truly truly love it.  That  being said, I AM POSITIVELY IN LOVE WITH Ojon's latest line of shampoo and conditioners called Rare Harvest Tawaka!!  Good lord, my hair has NEVER been this shiny and soft EVER.

                           

Regular readers know how much I love Ojon in general, but this stuff is on a whole other level.  The shampoo is dubbed a "cleanser" which can also be used on your face and body!  I found that the trick is to shampoo twice and the second time leave it in for 2-3 minutes before rinsing. It is more like a treatment than a plain old shampoo...good for all hair and skin types - particularly dry, damaged, aging skin and hair.  No oily residue either PLUS, the sulfate free formula won't strip hair so if you have color treated hair you are safe.

Just like the shampoo, the conditioner is also sulfate free and can be used on the face and body as well.  It is rich in anti oxidants which I wouldn't think would be a big deal for your hair but apparently it is!  When I tell you that my poor heat fried hair looks like I just came from a salon, I AM NOT PLAYING.  This stuff is amazing. it put a little on my face neck and arms but not too much because this stuff is not cheap and I am trying to ration!  Watch a video on how they conduct the "rare harvest" here and if you are not ready to take the plunge and buy a full size bottle, the ever thoughtful folks at Ojon have a special on QVC where you can get BOTH 13.5 oz bottles for $44 (they  normally retail for $32 each so it is a significant savings!)
